About the Role
1. Able to motivate people and processes within stages of a project: initiation, design, planning, control and monitoring, closing.
2. Able to communicate and coordinate works clearly with the design team, builders, authorities and clients during stages of project: schematic stage, engineering design stage, construction stage, completion stage and DLP.
3. Able to plan and reduce risks during planning stages (safety, site constraints, site readiness).
4. Able to consult with clients, consultants, builders during the enquiry, programming and preliminary stages.
5. Able to own all administrative processes within a project:
- material & equipment
- safety
- vendor & subcontractor administration
- handle other budgetary matters pertaining to the project,
- keeping the project’s within budget at all times,
- managing work progress with customers, and outgoing work certification towards vendors.
- Able to understand and sketch construction ideas.
6. Able to contribute towards team's endeavour for better project management habits and processes.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Engineering field (Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services /Recognised equivalent qualification )
Certificates: Supervise Construction Work (SCW) - previously known as BCSS Work at height supervisor. Risk Management Implementation & Assessment under WSH.
Fresh diploma/degree holders are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
Preferably at least 1 year of working experience in the local building construction industry, in the mechanical/electrical field.
